China News Service, October 6th. On the evening of the 5th Beijing time, the ITTF announced the venues for the 2020 ITTF Women's World Cup, 2020 ITTF Men's World Cup and 2020 ITTF Finals.
The Men's and Women's Table Tennis World Cup will be held in Weihai, Shandong, while Zhengzhou will hold the Table Tennis Federation finals.
The ITTF has previously announced that with the support of the Chinese Table Tennis Association, a series of restart events will be held in China in the form of event bubbles. The format of event bubbles will provide maximum safety protection for all athletes and staff.
The 2020 ITTF Women's World Cup (November 8-10) and the 2020 ITTF Men's World Cup (November 13-15) will be held at the Nanhai Olympic Center in Weihai, Shandong Province.
The venue can accommodate 4,000 seats and is the venue for the 2020 China Table Tennis Championships.
Zhengzhou, Henan Province will once again host the last ITTF event. The 2020 ITTF Finals (November 19-22) will be held at the Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center.
The Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center, which can accommodate 16,000 seats, successfully hosted the 2019 ITTF World Tour Finals last year.
The ITTF and the local organizing committee responsible for the ITTF finals are still discussing the possibility of allowing fans to attend.
