Badr Ahmed Al Hammadi told «Emirates Today»: “We have great confidence in the existing group of players, to achieve the desired ambition, and we are currently working to attract new players according to the requirements that the team needs.”
And the team, Sharjah, who won the championship last season, is ranked fifth in the Arab Gulf League teams, suspended since last March, with 35 points.
On the positions the team needs, and whether there is an explicit striker among them, Badr Ahmed said: "We work according to the technical requirements of the team."
On his opinion on the new signings of the team, he confirmed that the inclusion of Hatta goalkeeper Mohammed Darwish and player Al-Wahda Khaled Al-Dhanhani constituted a new addition to the team, indicating that the contracting with them came after seeing their levels, as well as after sitting with the coach.
Badr Ahmed continued: “Everyone praised the players Darwish Muhammad and Khaled Al-Dhanhani, as the latter is also young, and he has a future in the game besides being an elected player, in addition to the guard Darwish Muhammad provided good levels with Hatta, and it will be an addition to the club alongside the presence of the main guard. On his opinion about the presence of four old players on the board of the Football Company, and the positive effects of this on the development of work within the club system, he said: «The presence of four old players on the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Football Company, is a kind of sports experience, due to their previous experience as players They have knowledge of how to manage football, as well as knowledge of the requirements and needs of the player and work to provide them, and respond morally and financially to all his needs, in addition to the presence of former players on the board of directors that make the player feel close to him ».
And Badr Ahmed continued: «For the old players on the membership of the Football Company’s board of directors, the previous experiences they went through helps them to manage the game’s system. It is noteworthy that the Football Company Council, headed by Abdullah Al-Ajlah, included four old players, including Badr Al Hammadi, Jassim Al Dokhi, Amran Al Jasmi and Hassan Al Hammadi.
