The Transitional Committee of the Football Association decided during its meeting today at the Federation’s headquarters in Dubai headed by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, to return the international emblem of international governance Sultan Abdul Razzaq Al Marzouqi again, after it was withdrawn from him during the era of the former Football Association because of the decline in his arbitration level.

"The decision to return the international emblem to the referee, Sultan Marzouki, came upon the recommendation of the referees committee headed by Ali Hamad," said Mohammed Hazam Al-Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Football Association.

Referee Sultan Al Marzouqi is considered one of the most distinguished international referees, whether on the level of local participation in the UAE or foreign league.
