In the video taken from an NHK helicopter flying over Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, the slope on the side of the Joban Expressway has collapsed, completely blocking the two-lane road on each side, both up and down.
Police cars and fire trucks are parked in front of the site, and firefighters with flashlights are checking the damage.
You can also see multiple trucks and passenger cars stopping at a distance with the hazard lights on.
