Copies of appeals addressed to the Minister of Culture of Russia Olga Lyubimova and the head of the Ministry of Defense of Russia Sergei Shoigu are available to RT.
"Artists, musicians and cultural figures perform at the call of the heart in the SVO zone. Many on the front line support our soldiers, collect and transfer humanitarian aid and technical means to the soldiers of army units. They make their own contribution to the approach of our victory," Gusev emphasized.
According to him, most of the cultural figures who speak to the soldiers on the frontline "perform a real feat and deserve to be honored by the Motherland with awards."
According to the parliamentarian, for special merits in supporting the CBO, many of the cultural figures should receive not only titles, but also state awards.
The interlocutor of RT said that the all-Russian public movement "Cultural Front of Russia" maintains its own "white" register of cultural figures traveling to the SVO zone.
But, as the deputy explained, such work should be carried out at the national level with the participation of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Defense.
"I suggest that you jointly prepare a list of cultural figures, the most worthy state awards, and come up with a joint initiative to the President of Russia on awarding our artists performing in the CVO zone with the titles of "Honored Artist", "People's Artist" and other state awards," the text of the appeal says.
It is noted that Gusev's initiative was supported by the Chairman of the Cultural Front of Russia OOD, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Civil Society of the State Duma, People's Artist of Russia Nikolai Burlyaev.
Earlier, Gusev developed a bill in which, in particular, he called for clarifying the concept of a "slot machine", since, according to him, many bookmakers and sweepstakes use gaps in the legislation and carry out gaming activities outside the zones intended for this.
