It is specified that now the shipyards of the Northern Fleet consisting of the frigate "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov" and the medium sea tanker "Kama" in the Gulf of Oman are practicing joint tactical maneuvering with the destroyer of the naval forces of the People's Liberation Army of China "Nanjing", the frigates "Sahand" and "Jamaran", the corvette "Bayandor" and other ships and vessels of the Iranian Navy.
On March 15, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the trilateral naval exercises of Russia, China and Iran "Maritime Security Belt-2023" started in the Arabian Sea.
