The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) confirmed that the American company Apple paid a fine of 906 million rubles in a case with Kaspersky Lab on abuse of a dominant position in the mobile application market. The money has already been transferred to the budget of the Russian Federation.
“On February 22, 2023, funds in the amount of 906 million rubles were received by the budget of the Russian Federation,” the FAS press release says.
In 2020, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia recognized Apple as violating antitrust laws in a case initiated by Kaspersky Lab and issued an order to eliminate violations.
