Earlier this week, SVT Nyheter Stockholm told about Björn, who became homeless due to financial problems.

Before he became a pensioner, he worked at SAS and lived in a villa, he said at the time.

Björn never thought he would end up in a situation where he was forced to seek warmth inside the Central Station at night, but after a period of illness in December, the money ran out and he ended up on the street.

But a couple of days ago Björn received a call from Martin in Löderup in Scania.

He had heard about Björn's situation and wanted to open his home to him.

- I can afford and have the opportunity to provide Björn with accommodation and want to help, says Martin.

Wants Björn to have a bath

When I talk to Martin, he is sitting in the car with Björn.

They are on their way to a sauna so that Björn can get really warm.

In recent days, the non-profit association Hemlösa.se has received several calls from people who want to help the homeless.

Kavian Ferdowsi, who started the association, has himself lived on the streets and remembers the feeling when he got his accommodation.

- It's a fantastic feeling and I can see that Björn is so happy now, he says.
