German Defense Ministry: Berlin is not considering the issue of possible deliveries of combat aircraft to Kyiv

This was stated at a briefing by the representative of the German Ministry of Defense Arne Kollats.

“For us, this topic is not on the agenda,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the chairman of the Munich Security Conference, Christoph Heusgen, advocated sending fighter jets to Ukraine, saying that the supply of combat aircraft to Kyiv would not make the West a party to the conflict.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said he would do everything necessary to prevent the conflict over Ukraine from turning into a confrontation between Russia and NATO.
