The West will begin delivering F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine this summer, Dutch Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren said. The likelihood that Ukraine will receive these fighters from the West in the summer is quite high, experts say.
The Netherlands will provide Kyiv with €150 million for air-to-ground guided missiles that can be launched from the F- 16. The United States expects to transfer F-14 fighters to Kyiv in 2024, Pentagon press secretary Patrick Ryder said.
