Medvedev: in the event of a strike by Kyiv on Crimea, there will be no negotiations, there will only be retaliation strikes

He said this in a written interview with journalist Nadana Friedrichson, published in her Telegram channel.

“There will be no negotiations in this case, there will only be retaliation strikes.

All Ukraine remaining under the rule of Kyiv will burn, ”Medvedev stressed.

The politician also expressed confidence that Washington could end the conflict, which he himself provoked, "with the snap of a finger." 

However, he noted, the American authorities are not interested in ending the conflict.

In September, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Crimea is an integral part of Russia and that claims to Russian territory would receive a proper response.

Crimea became a Russian region after a referendum held there in March 2014: the majority of residents voted for reunification with Russia.
