This was reported by Interfax with reference to the statement of the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry Urmas Reinsalu.

According to him, "Estonian relations with Russia are based on the principle of parity."

“This means that the Russian ambassador in Tallinn will leave at the same time as the Estonian ambassador, on February 7,” the minister said.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that Russia was lowering the level of diplomatic relations with Estonia.

This measure is a response to the radical reduction of the composition of the Russian Embassy by Tallinn.

The ministry indicated that the Estonian ambassador should leave Russia on February 7.
