A Palestinian young man died today, Saturday, of injuries he sustained when an Israeli settler shot him near the village of Kafr Nima, west of Ramallah, which raises the number of martyrs in the occupied West Bank to 18 since the beginning of this year.

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that a settler shot a Palestinian youth near the "Sde Ephraim" settlement outpost, which is built on Mount Al-Raisan, between the villages of Kafr Nima and Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah.

And the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced "the death of the young man Tariq Odeh Youssef Maali (42 years)" after he was shot by an Israeli settler.

For its part, Palestinian sources said that Martyr Maali's car broke down near the outpost, and that the settler shot him when he got out of it.

It is noteworthy that the occupation forces killed 224 Palestinians during the past year 2022, including 59 martyrs from Jenin Governorate and 61 children.
