Since trekking accidents are common, the local authorities and the Korean association are preparing for an emergency. A task force has been formed and operated.

Pokhara, where the accident occurred, is a place with frequent plane crashes due to changeable weather.

Eight months ago, in May of last year, a passenger plane traveling between here and Jomsom crashed, killing all 22 people on board.

The Nepalese authorities, who suspended the search last night, plan to resume the search as soon as the sun rises.
