Justice does not let go of the Carousel of the marine worlds.

Two officials from the Loire-Atlantique prefecture have been indicted for "complicity in favoritism" as part of the vast investigation into irregularities in the design and construction of the giant carousel of the Machines de l'île, in Nantes.

The prefect Michel Papaud, former secretary general of the prefecture, and Jean-Philippe Aubry, director of the coordination of public policies, are suspected of not having checked the legality of the procedure, revealed

.

They are not the only ones concerned in this complex case since Jean-Luc Charles, former general manager of the island's development company (Samoa), had also been indicted for "favoritism and concealment of favoritism » last June, as did its former deputy director, Soizick Angomard.

The competition rules for this public facility may not have been respected.

Opened in 2012, the Carrousel des mondes marines is one of the attractions of Les Machines de l'île, along with the Great Elephant and the Galerie des Machines.
