According to the Cabinet of Ministers, livestock breeders will be able to receive a new type of support - subsidies to reimburse the costs of raising cattle and subsequent production.

The authorities have provided for this measure 600 million rubles a year.

Also, from 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers will soften the conditions for providing support for two categories of farmers who receive state grants for the development of production.

“We are talking about farms involved in the development of family farms, as well as agricultural cooperatives that use grant funding to strengthen the material and technical base,” the government explained.

Earlier it was reported that the authorities will allocate 12.6 billion rubles to support agricultural producers participating in export programs within the framework of the federal project “Export of agricultural products”.

The Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev admitted that the volume of exports of products of the Russian agro-industrial complex by the end of 2022 could reach $40 billion.
