Farmers poured fertilizer in front of the Czech government palace. About 3.5 thousand farmers are taking part in the one-day protest.
Farmers demand that the Czech authorities return the tax rate for owning agricultural land to last year's level. They also ask to protect the market from agricultural products from non-EU countries, including Ukraine. Earlier, several police officers were injured during clashes with farmers in Warsaw. The protest was called by the Agrarian Chamber and the Agricultural Union of Czech Republic.
