TASS writes about this.

Due to the actions of the farmers, tram traffic in the specified area was interrupted.

As stated by the Agrarian Chamber and the Agricultural Union of the Czech Republic, about 3.5 thousand farmers are taking part in the one-day protest.

It is noted that they introduced approximately 700 units of agricultural machinery into Prague.

Farmers demand that the Czech authorities return the tax rate for owning agricultural land to last year's level, improve working conditions in villages, refuse to reduce state subsidies for livestock breeding and exempt them from tax on subsidies from EU funds.

In addition, they ask to protect the market from agricultural products from non-EU countries, including Ukraine.

Earlier, several police officers were injured during clashes with farmers in Warsaw.
