Hanken is the fourth most popular university among Swedish students in Finland.

The school has also deliberately tried to attract students from Sweden in an effort to recruit the most talented students.

And it has worked.

One of the reasons is the school's changed admission system.

Nowadays, Swedish high school grades are also accepted as a basis for admission.

In autumn 2020, the School of Economics in Stockholm stopped teaching in Swedish.

Then the bachelor's programs also changed the language to English.

At Hanken in Helsinki, it is still possible to study in Swedish at both bachelor's and master's level.

The statistics below show that the number of students with Swedish citizenship at Hanken has increased significantly after 2020.
