Tokayev instructed to consider the return of distressed energy assets to the state

This was announced by the press secretary of the leader of the state Ruslan Zheldibai.

“The President instructed Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov to consider returning problematic energy assets in the country’s cities to state ownership,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Zheldibay noted that due to the poor quality of management of these assets, accidents and interruptions in the supply of electricity to consumers occur.

On November 27, Tokayev arrived on an official visit to Russia.
