Mahsa Amini's death in custody after her arrest in Iran by vice squads is linked to a brain condition and was not caused by beatings, according to a medical report released Friday by the Islamic Republic.
Iran's Forensic Organization said "Mahsa Amini's death was not caused by blows to the head and vital organs", but was related to "surgery for a brain tumor at the age of 8," according to the report published by state television.
