Training the mind to work is not difficult, but it is the key to unleashing all your mental potential to work without limits.

There is a common misconception that we can only use 10% of our brains.

In fact, this is an incorrect belief, as fMRI reveals that the majority of our brain is in use, even during very simple tasks.

Writer John Paul Gravel, a writer and coach specializing in developing mental abilities, published a report on the American "entrepreneur" website, which specializes in entrepreneurship, in which he talked about how you can train your brain to achieve the highest levels of success.

The writer emphasized that achieving our highest potential and entering the ranks of the most successful people has to do with how we use our brains, rather than how much of our minds we use.

He stated that many people do not learn how to use their minds in a way that unleashes its full potential, and instead of engaging in what matters most, they inadvertently focus their attention on activities that hinder rather than help their work.

The writer emphasized that fortunately, you can change this direction within your mind, and that training your brain for success is not difficult, as the success of that task lies in discovering how to hone your mental energy in the task at hand.

In order to succeed in this, there are several practices that you must take:

Eliminate unhealthy inner thoughts

When it comes to unlocking the full capacity of your mind, the unhealthy internal dialogues in your mind are your biggest enemy.

Technically, you could call it your "self-talk," and in fact you're talking to someone inside of you.

During these unhealthy conversations, we tell ourselves that we can't do something, even if we don't have evidence to support this position.

We are thus underestimating ourselves, our abilities, our relationships, or the people around us.

You may not be aware of the vast majority of these conversations, but they seem like a constant noise in the back of your mind.

During important interviews or crucial negotiations, your mind brings memories of insecurities, personal losses, and mistakes to your attention all the time, and this inner dialogue begins to guide you toward trusting yourself and avoiding blunders in the future. All this effort consumes amazing mental energy.

If you can put an end to the conflict caused by that inner noise, the extra energy and ability to think can be devoted to decision making and strategic thinking, giving you a greater chance of success.

Everything will be easier once this abundant energy is released and harnessed, and this is how elite entrepreneurs achieve unprecedented levels of success.

Imagine a successful businessman entering the elevator that will take him to an important business meeting, culminating years of strategic work and planning in a once in a lifetime opportunity, and he is now standing in that room in front of very important people about to make a fateful decision in his life.

However, instead of feeling excited, he feels sad.

His mind races, not with thoughts that will help him, but with pressures that make him overwhelmed with anxiety.

How much stronger would his chances of success be if his mind was focused on reassuring, calming, and empowering thoughts rather than “what if” and worst-case scenarios?

Learn to unleash the full potential of your brain

I want you to start thinking differently about what it takes to be successful.

Instead of letting your mind work against you with unwarranted thoughts and self-criticism, learn how to harness its full energy in every task.

By reducing or eliminating harmful thought processes, you free up the mental resources you need, and enable yourself to be more successful without extra effort.

Think of your mind as a computer.

When the computer slows down and the little colored wheel begins to spin (the loading sign), don't rush to type more on the keyboard. Instead, focus on fixing the computer problem.

The computer may crash because it is storing too much information, running too many programs, fighting a virus, or dealing with a corrupted file.

Whatever the case, years of experience have taught you that if you don't respond to a glitch, your computer's sluggish performance makes you waste your time.

To get things working optimally, most people need expert help in learning how to dump redundant files, delete corrupted files, close unnecessary programs, fix errors, and get rid of any viruses or malware.

Stimulate all your potential to develop your mind

You should reduce the thoughts and emotions that work against your brain to improve its functioning.

Harnessing the full potential of your brain makes you faster, clearer, and smarter.

Every day as a business leader, you complete a wide range of tasks that require high levels of processing and analysis power.

You develop a strategy to drive performance, innovate solutions, and stimulate thinking to overcome challenges and attract business and talent.

When your brain is unable to function optimally during these tasks, it stands to reason that your success is limited.

To rise to the highest levels in business, you must first understand that the strongest return on investment comes from investing in improving your mind.

This investment provides business benefits, and results in a better life and better relationships.

As a business leader, you are faced with technology, market rules, and even workplace cultures that are constantly evolving.

However, the toughest challenges will always be on your mind.

If you seek to excel in life by unleashing your potential, commit to taking care of your brain health and doing your best to improve its functionality.

When unleashing your mind becomes a priority, you achieve higher mental clarity, enhanced creativity and advanced problem-solving skills.

You maximize your potential, seize opportunities, and avoid losing money in negotiations.

If your goal is greater success at work, prioritize your most important asset...your mind.
