The minister noted that compared to Finland, fewer people arrive in Norway, and the only border checkpoint on the border with Russia is Storskog.

According to her, a helicopter is supposed to be brought in to control the situation at the border.

Earlier it was reported that the Finnish government approved the closure of the border for Russian tourists from Friday, September 30.

The Finnish embassy in Moscow announced that the Finnish Visa Application Centers will accept applications for humanitarian visas from Russian citizens.
