The core of the bill submitted to the US Senate under the name of 'A Reasonable Electric Vehicle Bill for America' is a temporary suspension of subsidy conditions.

This bill was submitted by Senator Rafael Warnock of Georgia, where the Hyundai Motor plant will be built. The Hyundai Motor plant is scheduled to be completed in 2025, so if the bill is passed, the penalty could be avoided.

Congressman Andy Kim of Korean descent said Warnock's proposal was a good start, and that Congress was also looking at ways to address South Korea's concerns.
