Former House of Representatives member arrested on suspicion of injuring two people in a collision while driving with a suspended license Ibaraki. Takaya Muto (44), a former lawmaker and a trader in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

He is suspected of causing injury by negligent driving without a license for causing injuries to two men. The two were taken to the hospital complaining of neck pain, but their injuries were said to be minor. Police believe that the former lawmaker's car crossed the center line, and are conducting a detailed investigation.
