According to him, it is necessary to start discussing issues related to the fact that "those who served in the army, who have a military specialty, could come to the civil service, and only in this way."

Volodin added that the election to public positions should be preceded by the acquisition of a military specialty, in particular military service or training at a military department.

“If you have received a military specialty, a military ID, taken an oath, then you can already apply for deputy, election of the head, governor, and other positions,” the speaker of the State Duma said.

Earlier, four State Duma deputies expressed a desire to go to the zone of a special military operation.

Also, the head of the Federation Council Committee on Defense, the former commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Viktor Bondarev, filed a report to participate in the Russian special military operation in Ukraine.
