Recently, Singapore is expected to implement a deposit system for beverage bottles and cans at the latest by 2024.

At that time, when the public buys certain specifications of aluminum cans and plastic bottled beverages, they must pay a deposit of about 50 cents or 1 yuan, and return the empty bottles at the designated recycling station to get the deposit back.

In this way, Singapore hopes to cultivate public recycling habits and reduce waste generation.
