“The third day of voting in the Kherson region has ended, and the turnout amounted to 48.91% of the list of voters,” RIA Novosti quotes the head of the election commission of the Kherson region, Marina Zakharova.

She recalled that the referendum will be considered valid if the turnout is more than 50%.

Earlier, the chairman of the CEC of the LPR, Elena Kravchenko, said that the turnout in the referendum in the Luhansk People's Republic on joining Russia in two days was 45.86%.
