His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met separately with Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the sisterly Republic of Yemen. His Highness also met separately with a number of foreign ministers of countries participating in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Dr. Rashad Al Alimi, they discussed paths of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest. During the meeting, His Highness affirmed the UAE's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and its sincere national efforts to achieve security. and stability in the Yemeni territories, and to meet the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people for development, progress and prosperity.

For his part, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi praised the UAE's continued support for the Yemeni people, stressing the strong historical and fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries.
On the other hand, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met separately with a number of foreign ministers of the countries participating in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. His Highness met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Demeke Mekonnen, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Dr. Fouad Hussein, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilya Darkashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Libya, Najla al-Manqush, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Melanie Jolie, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Pekka Haavisto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Norov, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Switzerland, Livia Agusti, Minister of Foreign Affairs Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Mohamed Salem Ould Marzouk.
