Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula announces the death of its leader, Khaled al-Bin Al-Husain. Al-Bhin Al-husain was a member of the Al-Qaeda group in Yemen.
He was killed in a car bomb attack in Yemen in 2009. He is the third member of Al- Qaeda to die in recent years. The group has a history of violence, including the 9/11 attacks in the United States. It was founded by al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in the 1990s.
