Unemployment in Skellefteå has been at a record low since the summer and is now down to 3.6 percent.
Skellefteå is now catching up with other municipalities in the north with large industrial investments in the workforce in southern Sweden.
These include Boden with Green Steel and Boden Gällivare with Hybrit.
In Skellefteå municipality, there is also a shortage of everything from care and social care staff, business assistants to cooks and drivers.
- We want to grow and make people understand that there are jobs here, says Skellefteå's business coordinator Roland Eriksson.
