A three-year-old child lost his life on Wednesday, hit by the tractor his father was driving on a property in Villemur-sur-Tarn, about forty kilometers north of Toulouse.
Firefighters were called shortly after 9 a.m.
“Despite a rapid arrival on this domestic accident and resuscitation care, a victim died”, they indicate.
According to information gathered by France Bleu Occitanie from the Toulouse prosecutor's office, the boy was sitting with his father on the family tractor without a cabin to mow a field.
For a reason that the investigations of the gendarmes will have to determine, the child fell from the machine, which rolled over him.
A manslaughter investigation has been opened.
