The infection prevention professor: Not likely with new measures

People over the age of 65 and those with compromised immune systems are recommended to receive a fourth shot of the vaccine.

But introducing measures that affect the entire Swedish people now that the spread of infection is increasing is not relevant, says Jan Albert, professor of infection control at the Karolinska Institutet.

However, the spread of infection during the summer has been "surprising", as it has been greater compared to previous summers, he says.
