“On August 12, 2022, Roskomnadzor drew up an administrative protocol against Twitch Interactive, Inc.
according to part 2 of Art.
13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Russia for not deleting information distributed in violation of the law, ”Roskomnadzor noted.
It is emphasized that the American company did not remove materials containing unreliable socially significant information about the special military operation being carried out by the Russian Armed Forces.
“This is the second protocol against Twitch for violating the requirements to remove inaccurate information,” the department stressed.
Earlier, Roskomnadzor decided to apply a coercive measure against the American company Twitch Interactive, Inc.
in connection with the failure to remove illegal information.
