In terms of private facilities, 3,755 houses and shops were flooded; in addition, 46 places were without power due to the disaster.

  According to the Chinese embassy in South Korea, as of August 10, a total of two Chinese citizens were confirmed to have died in the heavy rain in the South Korean capital area.

The consular office of the Chinese embassy in South Korea said that one of the two Chinese citizens who died was buried in a container dormitory caused by a landslide, and the other was electrocuted during outdoor construction during heavy rain.
