Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday accused Russian forces of practicing "terror" tactics by bombing Ukrainian cities, announcing the general evacuation of the population of the Donetsk region (east).

In southern Ukraine, Mykolaiv authorities said on Sunday that the city had been the target of massive Russian bombardments, probably “the strongest” since the start of the war in February, which left at least two dead, according to the mayor of the city.

7:06 a.m.: The first shipment of Ukrainian grain is about to leave Odessa

The first shipment of Ukrainian grain will leave the port of Odessa at 05:30 GMT, in accordance with the terms of the agreement with Russia signed in Istanbul, the Turkish Defense Ministry announced.

"The cargo ship Razoni flying the flag of Sierra Leone and loaded with maize will leave the port of Odessa bound for Lebanon at 08:30 (0530 GMT)," the ministry said in a statement.

Other convoys will follow this first departure while respecting "the (maritime) corridor and the agreed formalities", adds the ministry.
