Two people died after a light tourist plane crashed in Val Thorens (Savoie) on Thursday.

The victims would be men.

No witnesses to the crash came forward.

The ULM-type device and the victims were discovered around 4:30 p.m. by ski lift employees returning to the valley after their day's work, says

They saw the aircraft returned to the ground at an altitude between 2,200 and 2,400 m, below the altisurface of the station where various planes land.

Employees alerted the emergency services.

The Dragon 73 and Choucas 73 helicopters were mobilized.
