This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry.
“Only by a lucky chance, this did not lead to damage to the station’s equipment and the emergence of a man-made disaster,” the report says.
The ministry clarified that the strike was carried out using two kamikaze-type unmanned aerial vehicles, one of which was destroyed on approach to the nuclear power plant.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of the attack of Ukrainian drones on July 18 at the Zaporozhye NPP, 11 plant employees were injured.
The reactor part of the nuclear power plant was not damaged.
