“We will definitely remove the Heroes of the Soviet Union and Heroes of Social Labor from Theater Square soon,” he wrote on Facebook.*

Babich added that later decisions would be made on the monuments to Catherine II, Alexander Suvorov and the Alexander Column.

In April, a monument to Soviet Marshal Georgy Zhukov was dismantled in Kharkov.

The information was confirmed by the head of the administration of the Nemyshlyansky district Tatiana Topchiy.

Prior to this, a monument with Soviet military equipment was dismantled in the Ukrainian city of Rivne.
