Moscow court arrested Ilya Yashin in the case of fakes about the Russian Armed Forces

“The Basmanny District Court of Moscow decided to satisfy the petition of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia on choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention until September 12 in relation to Yashin Ilya Valerievich, suspected of committing a crime under paragraph “e” of Part 2 of Art.

207.3 of the Criminal Code of Russia,” she said.

Earlier, lawyer Vadim Prokhorov said that Yashin was formally charged under an article on the dissemination of false information about the Russian Armed Forces.

Later it became known that the investigation asked to arrest Yashin in the case of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces until September 12.
