A court in Moscow arrested the accounts of writer Akunin's wife in the amount of up to 6 million rubles. Earlier it was reported that the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested Boris Akunin in absentia.
Akunin is accused of publicly calling for terrorist activities, as well as discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. The Ministry of Justice previously recognized Akunin as a foreign agent. The ministry noted that Grigory Chkhartishvili disseminated false information about the Russian Federation and its army.
