The Pskov Museum-Reserve, which includes the affected estate, reports this on its VKontakte page.

“More than 20% of lost items are notes, books, records, which can be replenished over time.

The furniture of the era, necessary to recreate the interiors of the house, is also subject to restoration.

But most importantly, the archives of design and estimate documentation have been preserved, which will allow restoring the appearance of the estate,” the museum said in a statement.

It is noted that during the fire, with the help of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and local residents, 1125 exhibits were saved.

Earlier it was reported that in the village of Lyubensk, Plyussky district, Pskov region, the estate of composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, which is part of his memorial museum, caught fire.
