Tokarz said he traveled to Poland, where he spoke with local residents, foreign volunteers and Ukrainian refugees.

According to him, his interlocutors were worried about the lack of a unified policy on the issue of refugees in the European Union.

He also said that people with whom he spoke feared that “with the weakening of public interest in the conflict, most of Ukraine, if not the whole country, will fall into the hands of an unforgiving Russia.”

In addition, the observer added that his interlocutors expressed doubt that the EU could take effective measures against the backdrop of the advance of Russian troops in the Donbass.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service said that the Catholic Church in Poland is seriously discussing the possibility of absorbing the Lviv Archdiocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine.
