The Democratic Party Ethics Judge will hold a meeting at the National Assembly on the afternoon of the 20th and begin deliberation on disciplinary action against Rep. Choi Kang-wook.
On the 2nd of last month, Rep. Choi became controversial because it was known that he made sexually harassing remarks towards his fellow lawmaker in an online meeting with Democratic lawmakers belonging to the National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee.
In response, Rep. Choi's side insisted, "It is true that the member said in a joking manner when he was not seen," but claimed that it had no sexual meaning.
However, the Democratic Party Advisory Council said, "We have confirmed sexual harassment remarks that are embarrassing to post publicly."
