The Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education took disciplinary action against a total of five people. A male teacher in his 40s at a metropolitan high school who had falsely accused a teacher of sexual harassment and asked for the dismissal of a teacher he knew was given a pay cut.
A 64-year-old male teacher wrapped cloth tape around the chair in the classroom to prevent him from standing up, giving him a sense of fear about it. Three other people, including suspension, were also taken disciplinary action.
