Laurent Berger considers the hospital situation an emergency

At the head of the CFDT for ten years now, Laurent Berger, 53, was the guest of the program "Face aux territories" on TV5 Monde, hosted by Cyril Viguier.

An emergency: the hospital

During this program, Laurent Berger spoke about the inflation which is gaining ground everywhere in Europe, the decline in purchasing power in France, the measures expected to remedy it, the pension reform wanted by Emmanuel Macron.

But also the situation of the hospital in France, which he described as "on the verge of burnout" with a massive need for staff.
