A main water pipeline that supplies large parts of Nyköping and the entire Oxelösund with water went off overnight until Thursday.
The water is now completely shut off and the rescue service is now working to pump out water so that the leak can be located and repaired.
There is currently no forecast for when the fault will be rectified and in Oxelösund, residents are referred to the water tanks exhibited by Oxelö Energi.
One of them is in Sunda.
We visited the place and talked to some of the Oxelösund residents who were there to fetch water.
