Mishustin: the Russian government will provide the regions with installments on budget loans

“They (regions. -

) will now be able to restructure payments on budget loans that they took to cover their deficit both in terms of repaying the principal debt and interest on it,” Mishustin said.

With the help of such measures, it is planned to reduce the burden on the regions in order to direct funds for social support of the population and other critical tasks.

The head of the Cabinet stressed that a legislative framework is now being created to protect the Russian economy in the face of external restrictions.
