“The EU, together with the United States, intends to develop a path to attract investment for the reconstruction of Ukraine, but these investments must be accompanied by reforms,” TASS quoted von der Leyen as saying at a press conference.
According to her, the management system should be reformed, the independence of the judiciary should be increased.
She also spoke about the need to fight corruption.
Earlier, the European Union transferred a new tranche of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of €600 million.
