“From June 1, Warsaw public transport for citizens of Ukraine will be paid,” read announcements on trams and buses in the Polish capital.

As the agency points out, in Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot, free travel for Ukrainian citizens was canceled at the end of April, and since July it has been canceled in Poznan and Lublin.

Earlier it was reported that from June 1, the right of Ukrainian refugees to free travel in public transport in Polish Krakow is terminated.

On May 23, the Polish edition of Onet indicated that in Poland, due to the flow of Ukrainian refugees, they fear a humanitarian crisis and hunger.
